ACT JUSTLY
The Mission
And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God
-Micah 6:8
One of the mandates of the church is that we act justly. This means defending the vulnerable, providing for those in need, and standing against all forms of injustice. When we act justly, we put the good news of Jesus on display by showing off God's great love for a broken world. The Act Justly Initiative is intended to help our church learn, pray, give, and act for the glory of God and the good of our city.

Foster & Adoptive Care
This ministry exists to inform, equip, and support those involved in foster care and adoption. Whether you’re exploring the possibility, currently fostering or adopting, or looking for ways to serve, we’re here to offer training, practical help, and encouragement as we care for vulnerable children in our city.
Homeless Care
Homelessness affects communities everywhere—even in our own neighborhoods. Our Act Justly ministry has been faithfully serving those in need in Galveston by providing meals, offering prayer, sharing the Gospel, and helping connect people to vital resources. It’s a simple but powerful way to show the love of Jesus to those often overlooked.
Anti-Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is a serious issue in Houston—even right here in Webster. This ministry exists to raise awareness about the hidden world of trafficking that impacts our city. We partner with organizations like Elijah Rising and The Landing, which provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support to survivors as they begin the journey toward healing and restoration.
Community Care
We know there are many in our community—and right here at OneLife—who are aging or simply need a helping hand from time to time. Our Community Care ministry exists to meet practical needs by offering rides, help around the house, occasional meals, or just a listening ear. If you’re handy, have a flexible schedule, or a vehicle to give rides, we’d love for you to join us in caring for people in tangible ways as needs arise.
