Sign ups for the Fall 2020 term of Community Groups are going on now! We can't wait to get these groups started and begin meeting together again. This year, our groups will be meeting together in person and alternating weeks between guys and girls in order to limit the size of our in person gatherings. We will also have a virtual only group for those who are unable or not yet comfortable meeting in person. Questions? Feel free to reach out to us by emailing [email protected]

Why Community Groups?

We don’t believe that we were created to live the Christian life alone. We believe that we were designed to exist in Godly community. Although Sunday morning worship services are vital for us, Community Groups give us the opportunity to really do life together. In our groups, we are able to grow in relationship with each other, care for one another, and encourage and pray for each other. They provide the opportunity for us to go deeper in our relationships with the Lord alongside other believers. This means that we can spur one another on as we all grow together.

What do the groups do?

Community Groups usually begin with some time to hang out, grab a cup of coffee and enjoy a conversation. Once it’s time to gather together and start the discussion for the night, these groups have two distinct formats which we alternate between.

1. Sometimes the group meets all together to talk through the previous week’s sermon and to apply its truths to our lives. The point of these nights is to make it personal. We don’t want to just hear words on Sunday morning and then go about our week without allowing God to speak to us and change us.

2. On alternate weeks, we have something called breakouts. During these weeks the ladies and guys break into separate groups to talk through what’s going on in life, what God’s speaking to us, and what we’re celebrating or struggling with. This provides us with an opportunity to encourage one another, have fun and build relationship, as well as pray through each other’s joys and struggles, and hold one another accountable.

Community Groups will occasionally plan extra events like food nights, worship nights, or times to rally together to serve our community. Twice a year they also form teams and gather together to compete against other Community Groups at events like Fall Face Off!
