Endurance for the Gospel - Friends of OneLife with Kelly Monaghan
Endurance in the Christian life doesn’t happen by accident. It’s formed as we anchor ourselves to what matters most. If we drift from the gospel by adding to it, softening it, or moving beyond it, we lose our foundation. We are to hold the good news tightly and refuse to let anything replace it. But gospel clarity alone isn’t enough; we were never meant to walk alone. Scripture calls us sheep, not lone wolves. We need biblical community to help us endure, to strengthen us when we’re weak, and to help us lay down offense when relationships get hard. And underneath it all is a daily dependence on Jesus. We cannot sustain faithfulness in our own strength. Self-reliance eventually leads to fatigue, but remaining in the vine leads to life. As we keep going, we do so anchored in the gospel, committed to one another, and fully dependent on Christ who endured for us.
