How Can You Say There Is Only One True Faith? - Questioning Christianity - Nate Miller
Christianity claims to be the only true way to God. Isn’t that prideful to say? In this week’s message, Nate Miller addresses the accusations against Christianity’s claim of being the only true faith. As Christians, we believe the Bible in which Jesus Himself claims “I am the way, the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me” in John 14:6. Many believe that all roads of faith lead to the same higher deity. But this cannot be true! Truth is not subjective. Truth is truth. When looking at the most popular world religions, they are not congruent. They all believe different things about who Jesus was and what His life accomplished. As Christians, we know that Jesus was not just a good teacher, guru, or prophet. He is the Son of God who lived a perfect life, died a death that we deserved and was raised to life, conquering death and sin forever. Our hope is in Jesus and through Him is truly the only way to know God.
