Family Legacy: Practices for Families Who Put Jesus First

Culture shapes how we see the world—but often in ways that distort what’s true. It elevates feelings over truth, self-fulfillment over sacrifice, and emotional comfort over obedience. But Jesus calls us to something better. As families, we’re meant to walk in spiritual truth—not cultural trends. That means building a shared identity centered on Jesus, openly sharing our stories of His faithfulness, and treasuring God’s Word together. It means creating a home where grace is practiced, repentance is modeled, forgiveness is freely given, and each person is honored for who God made them to be. We choose humility over pride, truth over emotion, and connection to God’s family—the Church—over isolation. In a world pulling us in every direction, we’re invited to live with intention, shaping families marked by truth, devotion, and a love that always points back to Jesus.
