The Gospel of Mark: Resurrection Hope

Mark’s Gospel ends with an empty tomb and a question that still confronts us today: what will we do with the resurrection of Jesus? The women came expecting death but were met with life, reminding us how often we live as if hope is gone, unaware that everything has already changed. Jesus is not in the grave, and because He lives, hope is present. The resurrection is the foundation of our faith and the power for our lives now. Without it, we are still lost, but because of it, we are invited into new life. In His kindness, Jesus entrusts His mission to imperfect people, calling us to live with hope and to share that hope with others. God calls us not just to believe that Jesus is alive, but to go and tell others the hope we have in Him.
